These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AuroSudoku (the "App") and its companion Website at https://functionallyuseless.com/aurosudoku/. By using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App and Website. By using our services, you confirm you meet this requirement.
2. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or exploit the App except as permitted by law.
3. Intellectual Property
All content, code, logos, and designs are owned by Shane Syring. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
4. Ads and In-App Purchases
- The App contains Google AdMob ads that may be personalized or non-personalized based on your consent choices
- A one-time purchase is available to remove all ads and unlock unlimited hints
- Purchases and refunds are handled solely through Google Play's policies
- Consent options for advertising are provided through Google's UMP flow, including Privacy Choices where legally required
5. User Accounts
- No account is required to use the App
- Google Play may require you to sign in with a Google account for downloads and purchases
- Future versions may introduce optional features such as leaderboards, which may require additional account functionality
6. Newsletter
By subscribing, you consent to receive periodic emails. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided.
7. Future Features
If we introduce a leaderboard or social features, you must follow community rules. Cheating, abuse, or offensive content may result in removal.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Interfere with the App's functionality
- Exploit bugs or cheats
- Submit false or misleading bug reports
- Use the App for unlawful purposes
- Infringe intellectual property rights
9. Disclaimer
The App and Website are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for damages arising from use, except where required by law.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted, our liability is limited to the amount you paid (if any) for in-app purchases.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, unless otherwise required by law.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Updates will be posted at https://functionallyuseless.com/aurosudoku/tospolicy.html Major changes may be notified in-app.
