Overview

QR Conception is operated by Shane Syring (Ontario, Canada). This policy explains how the app handles information.

Information the app handles

  • QR content you scan, create, import from an image on your device, copy, share, open, or save is processed on your device.
  • If you save or create a code in the app, the code name, QR content text, file path, and timestamp are stored locally in app storage on your device.
  • QR images that you save or create in the app are stored in the app's private storage unless you choose to export a copy to your device Downloads folder.
  • If you use the app's share or open features, the selected content is sent to the app or service you choose.
  • We do not operate a server for this app and we do not upload or store your QR content on our own servers.

Permissions

  • Camera: to scan QR codes.
  • Vibration: scan feedback.
  • Storage / media access: to export QR images to Downloads on supported Android versions and to let you pick an image from your device for QR decoding.
  • Network: to load ads, request consent information, and support Google Play services used by the app.

Advertising and consent

  • The app uses Google AdMob banner ads and may use mediated advertising partners such as Unity Ads through AdMob mediation.
  • The app uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request consent choices that may be required in Europe, certain U.S. states, and other regions.
  • Ad providers and mediation partners may collect information such as device identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, app and device information, and ad interaction data to provide, measure, and personalize ads, subject to their policies and your consent choices.
  • Google privacy information is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy and ad controls are available at https://adssettings.google.com.
  • If privacy options are required for your region, the app provides a Privacy Options entry in Settings so you can review or change your choices.

Google Play services

The app may use Google Play's in-app review and in-app update services. These services are provided by Google Play and may exchange app, device, or update-related information with Google as part of those features.

Your choices

  • You can delete saved and created codes within the app.
  • You can delete exported files from your device Downloads folder.
  • You can review the app's Privacy Options in Settings when that option is available.
  • You can uninstall the app to remove data stored in the app's private storage.

Children

This app is not directed to children under 13 and is not intended to be used in a way that violates applicable children's privacy laws.
